2020 may not have been the year we had envisioned, but it was my most successful year in branding and business photography. The pandemic brought us together, you could say. So many businesses had to shift and increase their online presence to stay connected with their clients. The content businesses are putting out there has to be polished, professional, and eye-catching so that it stands out.
There’s no doubt that this year made our community stronger, and better able to weather these crazy times. That being said, we’re not out of the woods. And our small businesses need us now more than ever before. If you’re in a position to, buy gift cards to your favourite restaurants, your favourite gyms, and fitness studios, get the online memberships, get the takeout…support your local businesses in any way that you can.
Here’s a review of the branding sessions I did over this past year. It’s been a wild ride, and I could not be more grateful to all the businesses who trusted me to capture these branding photos for them over the course of this global pandemic.

Never ever have I had so much fun touring the streets of the Byward Market with a bunch of girls who magically reappeared in a whole new wardrobe, ready to be photographed. Check out my branding session with Sloth Pants!
Here’s a review of badass copywriter Steph Laffy with a stack of books and a smile.

JoAnne Walsh is a coach and healer and a true beauty inside and out.
I’ve had several branding sessions with the Ottawa Resiliency Clinic over this past year and haven’t even blogged one. Shame on me. Mentally adding it to my to-do list…
I haven’t blogged this review yet, but I need to! I had such a blast working with Sarah Hunter, a real estate agent in Ottawa.

The beautiful team at West Side Spa!
2020, you’ve been a real slice (a slice of something I could have done without) but you’ve definitely opened some doors that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. Feeling grateful and ready for 2021. My calendar is open for new bookings! Let’s do this thing.
