I recently had the pleasure of working with Alexandra Gaw, a multi-talented individual in Ottawa who specializes in massage therapy, nutrition, and personal training. She was looking to develop her personal brand and needed a variety of photos to showcase each of her niches on her upcoming website. I was thrilled to collaborate with her on this project and bring her vision to life through my lens.

The day of the shoot started off with Alex arriving at my home studio, eager and excited for the day ahead. As we discussed the different shots she wanted to capture, I could see her passion for her work shining through. I made sure to create a relaxed and comfortable environment so that she could feel confident and at ease in front of the camera.

One of the biggest challenges we faced during the shoot was capturing the essence of each of Alexandra’s specialties in a way that felt authentic and natural, while also showcasing en elevated experience. We wanted the photos to truly reflect her personality and passion for helping others improve their health and well-being. I had to carefully consider lighting, angles, and composition to ensure that each shot conveyed the message she wanted to send to her potential clients.

Overall, the half-day brand shoot with Alex was a huge success. We were able to capture a wide range of images that beautifully showcased her expertise in massage therapy, nutrition, and personal training. I am confident that these photos will help her build a strong online presence and attract more clients to her growing business.
