Cara Racicot is a physiotherapist based in Ottawa and we did her final shoot for her Quarterly brand photos in May. Cara wanted to find a location that felt urban but also minimalistic. I think we nailed it.

We decided to meet in downtown Ottawa near the Plaza Bridge, which is close to the Rideau Canal Locks. This area offered some unique architectural elements that perfectly complemented Cara’s physiotherapy brand. The staircase and cement walls provided an interesting backdrop for the photos.

But we didn’t just stop there. We also took advantage of the surrounding nature by exploring the path in the trees nearby. We wanted to add some variety to the photoshoot and showcase different aspects of Ottawa’s beauty.

With this final shoot, we were able to achieve the urban vibe that Cara desired. By incorporating elements of Ottawa’s architecture, nature, and Cara’s expertise as a physiotherapist, we created some lifestyle brand portraits that truly represent her.
