In the spring, I had the opportunity to take brand photos for Nicole Allen, an artist based in Ottawa. It was such a blast capturing Nicole in her studio, surrounded by her incredible artwork.

Nicole specializes in creating vibrant and stunning floral paintings. Her use of vivid colours and clever play with light results in some pretty impressive pieces.

During the photoshoot, Nicole wore her paint-covered jeans, which added a touch of authenticity to the portraits. We focused on capturing her unique personality, creating images that she could use on social media and for her biographies when participating in art shows.

As an Ottawa-based photographer, I loved getting to work with Nicole as she is an integral part of the artistic community in this vibrant city. Her studio in Ottawa served as the perfect setting to showcase Nicole’s talent and capture the essence of her brand.
