Jessica is in the process of becoming a licensed real estate agent here in Ottawa and she reached out about getting a few photos taken in order to better set herself up with professional photos. We used the old “Covid Studio” aka. my home studio for a few photos of herself in action.
Jessica bringing a little flair to this session with a glass of rosé. I always encourage clients to add an element of their personality into these photos. Chances are this photo will get more engagement on social media than any other.
We hit the road for a few photos outside in a residential neighbourhood to speak to her real estate background.
Switching gears for a moment…let’s talk strategy when it comes to getting the most out of your branding session. Prior to our shoot, I send out a questionnaire that asks for lots of information, including how you plan to use these photos. Website, social media, blog posts, newsletters…whatever it may be. Thinking about the usage of these photos, do you think you’ll need most of them in portrait or landscape orientation, or a combination of both? Are you replacing a header or banner image on your website? If so, do you need some negative space for text?
We cover so many details in both the questionnaire and then our planning call prior to our session so that you get what you need out of our time together. I put together some examples below to give you an idea of how you can use your photos. Note these are just examples I prepared; these are not official “Jessica Lozano Real Estate” products.
Just some ideas to get you thinking about your next branding session!
Planning a brand photoshoot and aren't sure where to get started? Having been in front and behind a camera, I am spilling my secrets so that you get the desired results that you want!
