Let’s talk real estate. The market is HOT right now! It seems like everywhere you look, houses are popping up and selling in the blink of an eye. It feels like every real estate agent I talk to says that this is the biggest real estate boom Ottawa has ever seen. There’s a shortage of houses on the market, so people who are looking to buy will have to bid WAY higher than the asking price.

I am no real estate expert, but I have to agree – these are crazy times.

I’m sure everyone knows at least one real estate agent in this city. Whether it’s a friend or someone you hired to buy or sell your home…there are so many skilled real estate agents in Ottawa. But very few come close to Nancy and Frank O’Dea. They’ve been in the business for years and have an incredible wealth of knowledge when it comes to real estate in Ottawa. And I had the pleasure of photographing this husband and wife team from Engel and Volkers!

I met Nancy and Frank O’Dea at the Engel and Volkers offices on Somerset here in Ottawa the day of our branding session. Located in this old beautiful brownstone building, they were the perfect backdrop for our branding session!

Afterward, we met outside Rideau Hall and walked around (with their sweet dog Jazz) for more casual photos. I believe there is value in showcasing more of your life outside of work. Especially in the real estate world, where there is so much competition. This is a great way to let your potential clients see who you are outside the office.
